The Secret Things Are With The Lord.

The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things which are revealed and disclosed belong to us and to our children forever, so that we may do all of the words of this law.
Deuterronomy 29:29.

There are dimensions of our lives, our future, our assignment and our destiny that are secrets, known only to and hidden with the Lord. There are great things we are capable of accomplishing, things we have never conceived in our minds but they are written in God’s books concerning us, for us to accomplish in our time here on earth.

Paul And Silas Didn’t Pray For A Miracle.

“About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.” Acts 16:25-26

Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns in worship to the Lord. They were not praying and singing ‘to get a miracle ‘ or ‘to get a breakthrough’ or ‘to bring down heaven.’ They had no such intention or agenda.
Their prayer and praise was not manipulative, it wasn’t ‘putting pressure on heaven to move.’ No. They were simply worshipping the Lord in spirit and in truth.

They were not asking the Lord to deliver them from that dungeon ‘through a miracle’ when that earthquake occurred. They did not ask for an earthquake to deliver them.
And that earthquake could have even been a natural occurrence without any divine intervention whatsoever. That was an earthquake region and earthquakes happened all the time. You will notice that Paul and Silas were not shocked that an earthquake occurred in that region. Earthquakes were normal in that region of the world.

I trust all is well with you. I want to share this prayer with you. I pray it is a blessing to you, as it has been a blessing to me.

 

Pray it out loud.

Lord, May Your Kingdom come, May Your Will be done, have full sway in and take total pre-eminence in my life.
May my will give way for your Will to find full, complete, total expression in my life.
May your Will locate and find me.
May your Will bless my soul with peace.
May your Will align me to your plan and purpose for my life.
May your Will redirect the course of my life.

May your Will rescue me from the wrong path, from wrong associations, from wrong relationships and from wrong pursuits.

May the desire for your Will become a stronghold in my heart.
May my heart find peace in and rejoice to do your Will.
Lord bring me into the very centre of your Will for my life.
Lord demolish every resistance in my heart to do your Will.

Lord guide me, lead me, direct me and bring me into the right geographical location, the right place and the right people to carry out and fulfil your divine assignment for my life.

A Prayer For Peace.

Lord thank you for your word upon which we stand today. Lord thank you for that which you have done for us in the past and what you are doing presently. We are eternally grateful for your unchanging, ever present love in our lives.

Lord I pray for my brother and sister who are going through an emotional, mental, inner battle, those passing through a severe trial that has brought them to a place of hopelessness, Lord give them your peace.

Lord, thank you for the access I have by the blood of Jesus. Thank you for the Holy Spirit my intercessor who helps me pray with accuracy.

Lord I pray that you will give me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you. Lord, flood the eyes of my understanding with your light, that I may know the hope of your calling. Lord, deliver me from every darkness that clouds my mind and my emotions. Deliver me from self-deception, from delusions, from illusions of grandeur, from pride and from lies.

A House Of Prayer

“It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.'” Matthew 21:13.

The Lord said my house shall be called a house of prayer.
Not a house of music,
Not a house of breakthrough,
Not a house of prosperity,
Not a house of success,
Not a house of miracles,
Not a house of millionaires,
But a house of prayer.

It is a house of prayer because God wants to have a strong connection, intimacy and communion with his children.

If his house is a house of prayer, why is it that we do everything else in it but pray? Why is it that we have turned his house into a house of merriment and entertainment?
