The Lord Will Remove All Idols.

The Lord Will Remove All Idols.

The Lord wants us to have healthy relationships which bring us value. However, any person, relationship, friendship, support structure which becomes an idol and replaces your trust in the Lord will be removed from your life, so that your trust will not be in people but in the Lord alone.

Jeremiah 17:5-6, Thus says the LORD, “Cursed is the man who trusts in and relies on mankind, Making [weak, faulty human] flesh his strength, And whose mind and heart turn away from the LORD.
For he will be like a shrub in the [parched] desert; And shall not see prosperity when it comes, But shall live in the rocky places of the wilderness, In an uninhabited salt land. (Ampl) Continue reading

Your Calling Is More Important Than Money

  1. You have a calling as an evangelist, pastor, prophet, etc, but you see people making money, so you abandoned your calling to pursue money.
    Don’t be an idiot.
You have a calling and grace that kings and queens envy.
Do not allow money derail your destiny.
    Pursue your assignment.

When the rich have problems they know where to run. They are rich, but spiritual things cannot be bought, neither can they be sold. They are forced to find people who carry the grace to help them.
    I have helped billionaires.
    I know what I carry.
    Know what you carry.
Never undermine yourself or your calling. Continue reading

Paul And Silas Didn’t Pray For A Miracle.

“About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.” Acts 16:25-26

Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns in worship to the Lord. They were not praying and singing ‘to get a miracle ‘ or ‘to get a breakthrough’ or ‘to bring down heaven.’ They had no such intention or agenda.
Their prayer and praise was not manipulative, it wasn’t ‘putting pressure on heaven to move.’ No. They were simply worshipping the Lord in spirit and in truth.

They were not asking the Lord to deliver them from that dungeon ‘through a miracle’ when that earthquake occurred. They did not ask for an earthquake to deliver them.
And that earthquake could have even been a natural occurrence without any divine intervention whatsoever. That was an earthquake region and earthquakes happened all the time. You will notice that Paul and Silas were not shocked that an earthquake occurred in that region. Earthquakes were normal in that region of the world. Continue reading

Let The Lord Prove Himself

Let The Lord Prove Himself.

Some years ago I was eating at a fast food restaurant in Lagos, Nigeria. A lady recognised me, came over and asked me to speak to her ‘fiance’ who was with her. She was about to get married to him and wanted to know what I thought about him.

I sat with the guy at his table and spoke with him about different things; his job, the church he attended, business, etc. As I was speaking to him about those things, I was listening to what the Lord had to tell me about him. When I was done talking with him, I told the lady: “this man doesn’t want to marry you.”
Lady: “how do you know? Did he tell you he didn’t want to marry me?”
Me: “No, he didn’t.”
Lady: “Then how do you know that he doesn’t want to marry me?”
Me: “The Holy Spirit revealed it to me.” Continue reading

The Recognition Of Your Dominant Gift

The Recognition Of Your Dominant Gift.

Many years ago I read Dr Mike Murdock’s book: ‘The Law Of Recognition.’ That is one of the best books I have read in my life.
There’s a chapter on the Recognition of your dominant gift, where he explained that you may have many gifts and talents, but one gift or talent will stand out and tie all other gifts together to produce at their optimum capacity.

I started ministry as a singer. After three decades, I am still a good singer. The gift of singing opened doors for me to interact with many pastors, both good and bad. I learnt a lot from that experience and I have so many stories to tell. I will leave that for another post.

Well, after a while the Lord started stirring me to write books. I told a pastor I worked with at that time and he said I was not called to write books. Some people are just insane. How can you tell someone that he is not called to do something just because you want that person to continue to work for you? Well, I ignored that pastor and started writing books. I have written over 60 books. Continue reading

The Danger Of Covetousness

The Danger Of Covetousness.

“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his manservant or maidservant, or his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.” Exodus 20: 17.

In all my years as a believer I have not heard up to 3 preachers talk about the sin of covetousness. In fact, most preachers encourage, fuel and sponsor the sin of covetousness by telling us about their luxury houses, their bank accounts, their possessions. They fuel covetousness by staging testimonies of people who got financial breakthroughs by their sacrificial giving, thereby stirring a deep greed for money and material possessions in the heart of their congregation. Majority of testimonies birth greed in people, not faith or love for Yeshua. Continue reading

God is not against you having money.

So that we are clear, I am not against the rich and the wealthy. Joseph of Arimathea was wealthy and was also a disciple of Yeshua.
God is not against you having money. Money is a reward for the creation and delivery of value. If you want money, create and deliver value.

But this what God is against.
God is against you perverting scriptures to make money,
God is against you collecting tithes to enrich yourself,
God is against you manipulating the poor to steal from their pockets,
Gos is against you merchandising the gospel to enrich yourself,
God is against you selling the gifts of the holy spirit,
God is against you selling healing, selling prayers, selling deliverance to enrich yourself,
God is against you placing a financial price on the gospel,
God is against using your office and position to steal from the poor,
God is against using the name of Christ to steal from the ignorant,
God is against you monetizing the gospel like a common criminal,
God is against you becoming a pathological liar because of money.
If you want to make money, don’t beg, don’t manipulate, don’t pervert scripture, don’t use the weapon of fear. Get a job. Do some business. Create and deliver value.
Brother Gbile and brother Zac Poonen have given testimonies how God provided for them supernaturally without asking or begging anyone, telling anyone their need, or manipulating anyone. They prayed and God sent people from hundreds of miles away to meet their needs. If God told you to focus on ministry, God will provide for you with dignity. You will never have to beg anyone for help. If you are begging, you should either get a job or do something else apart from ministry.
God does not put his servants to shame.
If you were given an instruction, God will honour his word in your life.
Trust God to open doors of divine providence for you, your family and your ministry.

May the Lord build his Church.

The Holy Spirit Is Your Helper, Not Your Slave.

Many of you don’t understand spiritual responsibility. You act like children and expect to be spoonfed and led by the hand, but God is waiting on you to take responsibility for your life.
The Holy Spirit is your helper, not your slave.
You must take responsibility for your life. Waiting for the Holy Spirit to do something when you’ve already been given an instruction is juvenile. So many people BLAME the Holy Spirit for their failure to take action on their assignment.
“The Holy Spirit has not told me what to do.”
“The Holy Spirit has not shown me where to go.”
This is how many people justify their colossal failure in ministry, business, career and life.
When God gives you an assignment, it is your duty and responsibility to GET IT DONE! You cannot blame the Holy Spirit for not ‘telling you what to do.’ Go get it done!
Do you know that if you fail in your assignment God is not going to blame the Holy Spirit for ‘not helping you.’ You are responsible for your success and your failure.
Find the right platforms for your assignment to thrive.
Find the right people to help your assignment succeed.
Find the right environment for your assignment to thrive.
Take responsibility for your assignment, your calling, your ministry and your life.
Blessings.

Demas Has Forsaken Me

For Demas, having loved this present world, has deserted me and gone to Thessalonica. 2Timothy 4:10.

Demas was a co-labourer with Paul the Apostle. Demas had been through a lot with Paul; he had gone on missionary journeys with him, seen the miracles and experienced the power of the gospel, yet he turned back.
Demas had had enough of Paul and his zeal for Christ. Demas wanted to enjoy his life here and now and wasn’t waiting for Christ to reward him for his commitment to the gospel.
Demas had hopes and dreams that were unmet, he wanted to be somebody in society, he wanted to be recognised and celebrated by his peers, he eanted to be rich, he wanted to own mansions in Ephesus, he wanted to be surrounded by the mist beautiful women from Corinth. Simply put, Demas wanted to enjoy his life now. Continue reading

Love is Everything.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be restrained; where there is knowledge, it will be dismissed. 1Corinthians 13:8.

Love is more important than speaking in tongues.
Love is more important than powerful prophetic gifts.
Love is more important than deep revelations.
Love is more important than giving to the poor and the church.

We have all been deceived to think there are matters more important than walking in love.
There are none.
Nothing else matters.
Love is everything. Continue reading
